Using Leap to stake BABY on Babylon Genesis
To start, download the Leap app here: leapwallet.io/download
Then, import your existing BABY wallet or create a new one!
Follow these steps to stake your tokens on Leap Extension/App
Launch Leap
Open the Leap extension or mobile app (iOS & Android)
Switch to the Babylon Genesis chain (from the top-right corner) using the chain selector.
Go to the staking page
Tap on the stake button to view your staking portfolio.
Enter the amount of BABY you wish to stake.
Select your validator
You can select the validator you want to stake your tokens with. We recommend staking with multiple validators to diversify.
Approve & confirm
Once you're done with your selections, confirm the transaction.
Your transaction is queued for final submission in the next epoch, with expected completion time shown on the stake tab.
That’s it. Done, you're now earning rewards on your BABY!
Your rewards will accrue & can be claimed whenever you want.
Follow these steps to stake your tokens on the Leap App using Ledger
Launch Leap
Open the Leap Mobile App
Click on the wallet management panel in the center of your screen and connect your Ledger.
Connect Ledger
Select the Ledger wallet from your Leap app that you want to connect for staking
Switch to the Babylon Genesis chain (from the top-right corner) using the chain selector.
Go to the staking page
Tap on the stake button to view your staking portfolio.
Enter the amount of BABY you wish to stake.
Select your validator
You can select the validator you want to stake your tokens with. We recommend staking with multiple validators to diversify.
Approve & confirm
Once you're done with your selections, simply confirm the transaction.
Approve the transaction from the Ledger.
Your transaction is queued for final submission in the next epoch, with expected completion time shown on the stake tab.
