How does Leap Wallet Work?
Leap Wallet is available as a browser extension and mobile app (iOS and Android) that allows you to manage your assets on Osmosis securely and efficiently and connect with all the dApps and projects on Osmosis. To get started, download the Osmosis Wallet for the browser.
Creating your first Osmosis Wallet
Step 1: Download and Install Leap Wallet
First, you'll need to download the Leap Wallet browser extension from the Chrome Web Store. This gives you immediate access to the Osmosis network.
Step 2: Choose to Create a New Wallet
When you open the extension, you'll see three options:
Create a new wallet
Import an existing Cosmostation or Keplr wallet
Import using a seed phrase
For a fresh start, select "Create a new wallet."
Step 3: Secure Your Seed Phrase
You'll be shown a seed phrase that serves as the master key to your wallet.
Note:Write this phrase down on paper.(DO IT!)
Step 4: Verify Your Seed Phrase
To ensure you've properly saved your seed phrase, you'll need to complete a verification step by entering the missing words from your phrase.
Note: We won’t be able to help you recover the wallet if you lost your seed phrase.
Step 5: Create a Strong Password
Set a password to encrypt your wallet. Choose something memorable but strong.
Step 6: Access Your New Osmosis Wallet
Your wallet is now ready! Access it by clicking the Leap Wallet icon in your browser's toolbar. If you can't find it, look for the puzzle piece icon to see all extensions, then pin Leap Wallet for easy access.
Step 7: Start Using Your Osmosis Wallet
You can now manage your assets and interact with the Osmosis Network, including staking OSMO tokens.

Please note that the Leap wallet is a self-custodial wallet which means you are always in control of your funds and make sure you keep your seed phrase safe.
Importing an Existing Osmosis Wallet into Leap
Step 1: Select Import Option
Open Leap Wallet and click on "Import using a Seed Phrase."
Step 2: Enter Your Seed Phrase
Type your existing wallet's seed phrase into the text box.
Step 3: Select Wallets to Import
Click "Import Wallet" and choose which wallets you want to import. For the best experience on Osmosis, importing all wallets is recommended.
Step 4: Create a Password
Set a strong password to secure your imported wallet.
Step 5: Access Your Imported Wallet
Your imported wallet is now ready to use through the Leap Wallet interface.
