Social Logins

What are Passkeys?

Passkeys are a new way to keep your online accounts safe and easy to use. Apple, Google, Microsoft, and the Fido Alliance made them. Passkeys use a special code from your device instead of a regular username and password. This way, it's safer and harder for others to get into your account.

Capsule, the technology provider for Leapboard’s social login feature - uses a special method called WebAuthN for passkeys. This is different from saving passwords in your browser or using other logins that aren't as safe. Passkeys are made on your device and stay there. They're not easy to forget like passwords. You can set up passkeys using FaceID, TouchID, or a password on your device.
