In this document, we show how to deposit funds from Centralized exchange to Leap Wallet. We are taking $ATOM token and Binance as example. The process mostly remains same for other tokens and Centralized Exchanges. We would recommend checking the guides from the chain or the centralized exchanges if you are not too sure about this process.
Deposit $ATOM on Leap Wallet using Mobile App

Alternatively, you can follow these 14 easy steps to deposit $ATOM on Leap Wallet using mobile app.
Open the Binance app on your device and go to "Wallet" located on the bottom nav bar of your app.
Head over to the "Spot" tab from the top nav bar.
Now, find the $ATOM token and click on it.
Click and withdraw and choose to withdraw via a crypto network.
Open your Leap Wallet mobile app and switch to the Neutron chain from Cosmos Hub using the "switch chain" modal.
Note: Withdrawing ATOM from Binance to any other chain will lead to asset loss. Withdraw only to Cosmos Hub chain.
Copy the wallet address from the Cosmos Hub Home tab.
Click on the "Profile button" under the "Address" field that will open the "Select Address" drawer.
Now click on "New address" and paste this address on the "Add new address" screen.
Keep the MEMO field empty as you are withdrawing your assets from Binance to Leap Wallet.
Fill in "Address origin" as "others" and enter Leap Wallet on the "Wallet label" field.
Select the "Add to whitelist" checkbox and save the address. Proceed ahead and click the "Confirm button". Now enter the OTP and 2FA TOTP to whitelist the Neutron chain Leap Wallet address.
Now select the whitelisted Neutron chain address from the list and keep the memo field empty.
Enter the amount of ATOM you want to withdraw.
Keep the "Send from" field option as " Spot Wallet".
Now click on the withdraw button and proceed ahead. That's it. Wait for the transaction to be successful on the blockchain.
Note: You will not lose your assets if you proceed without entering a Memo. You are performing a withdrawal transaction from Binance to Leap Wallet.
Deposit $ATOM on Leap Wallet using Desktop

Alternatively, you can follow these 14 easy steps to deposit $ATOM on Leap Wallet using a desktop/browser extension.
Log in to your Binance account on your Desktop and click on the "Profile" button
Click on "Assets" from the dropdown menu.
Now, click on the "Withdraw" button located at the top right of your screen.
Click on the "Withdraw Crypto" button at the middle top of your screen.
Enter the name of the coin you want to withdraw. For this guide, we will withdraw "ATOM". You can follow this guide to withdraw any other Cosmos asset and deposit it on Leap Wallet.
6. Search ATOM and click the "notepad" icon located in the right corner of the "Enter address" field.
Click on the "Add new address" option and you will be redirected to the "Address Management" screen.
Now again click on the "Add Address" option.
Open the Leap Wallet Home tab and copy your wallet address where you want to deposit your Cosmos assets. For this guide, it's ATOM.
Now enter the name by which you want to whitelist your address on Binance and enter the pasted address. Don't set it as a universal address. Addresses are specific to coins. To withdraw other Cosmos assets, you will need to add another address for that chain.
Network will get auto-selected. If not, select ATOM in it. The memo is not required while depositing assets to Leap Wallet.
The "Add address to whitelist" checkbox needs to be selected and click on the "Save" button.
Now, complete the security verification requirements. Enter details from the Authenticator app and Email.
Your address is now whitelisted. Go back to the withdraw screen again by clicking on the backward arrow located beside "Settings"
Now select the address that you just whitelisted for ATOM and enter the amount of asset that you want to withdraw,
Scroll a bit downwards and click on "Withdraw" button. Click on the "Confirm" button.
Click on the "Continue" button on the confirmation screen and fill up your security credentials from the Email and 2FA authenticator app.
That's it. You have now completed the deposit process for ATOM assets. Similarly, you can also deposit other Cosmos assets on Leap by following this guide. Wait for a few minutes and your deposit will reflect on the Leap Wallet Home Tab if you have followed the complete deposit process mentioned in this guide.
